Answers from Barbara Rose www.borntoinspire.com
What quality (or qualities) do your feel are most important for successful New
Age Entrepreneurs?
I strongly
feel whether it is for the new age entrepreneur or any entrepreneur that coming from a place of Divine cooperation, sharing
to help and support each other’s work, and connecting purely from your heart without any fear of or assumption of “competition”
is vital to the success of any person, venture, business or endeavor. It is in working in harmony “with” rather
than trying to “beat or move ahead of” anyone that leads to genuine, lasting success in living our life purpose.
What is the most effective method you have found for attracting clients?
I honestly work for God, and it has been in writing articles,
sharing important information to help people, giving free tele-seminars, and creating sections on my website that is rich
with helpful content that is the first step. The second step is in having pure motives and working with the utmost integrity,
dealing with people purely from the heart where my clients come to be either by “chance” or by personal referrals.
I just put my work and messages that are given to me to put out there for the sole purpose of making a difference, and I also
know that I cannot work with everyone on the planet, so I trust that the clients that are in need of my services, and feel
in sync with what I am doing and how I can help them just naturally come to me. God sends them, or they are referred by other
clients I have helped in the past.
How
long did it take you to build your business to a level where you felt financially stable & secure?
LOL – I’m still building! I really
do not look for “outer success” in any area. Just to be able to cover my bills, to be able to have the means to
reach people, it really is a life long endeavor, it’s a purpose lived in the moment, and yet, all work builds upon all
previous work. Each book, article, seminar, consultation – they all build upon the other, similar to a snowball rolling
and naturally gathering more snow as it rolls – so I’m always “on a roll” of some sort, always creating,
because this is my real passion, and the bills manage to be covered.
Describe your typical work day.
I work with a client on a telephone session for a couple of hours, write chapters in a new forthcoming book, complete
exams as I am now completing my Ph.D., edit and arrange new articles for each month’s forthcoming issue of inspire!
magazine – which is my free on line magazine to help inspire and uplift humanity. I speak with people arranging public
speaking events and seminars, I deal with the publishing and foreign language rights for my books, I answer a lot of e-mails
from people, arrange tele-seminar events for the faculty of IHSC – Institute of Higher Self Communication, coordinate
interviews for inspire! magazine, add new articles to my website borntoinspire.com, post something helpful on Rose Humanitarian
Alliance yahoo group, Create and schedule newsletters to go out in advance, and then I remember to eat something, take a shower
and get some rest. I love every moment of what I do, so it never feels like work to me, it feels like bliss.
What advice would you offer to aspiring New Age
Entrepreneurs?
Do what you love to do, reach out purely from your heart just to
make a difference in this world, and never take a compliment or an insult too seriously – they are the perceptions of
others. Live and be an expression of light, love, compassion and truth at all times, and follow your gut instincts!
